Up for sale is a beautiful vintage religious wall plaque bust set featuring the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Crafted by Ucagco in Japan, these chalkware/ceramic figurines feature lovely muted tones with delicate gold-painted trim details. They are designed to hang flush against a wall, complete with built-in metal hanging loops embedded securely at the top of each piece. Item Specifics & Measurements: Brand: Ucagco (Both pieces feature the original red and gold factory foil stamp on the back) Subject: Sacred Heart of Jesus & Immaculate Heart of Mary Material: Chalkware / Ceramic Origin: Made in Japan Dimensions: Both the Jesus and Mary busts measure approximately 8 inches tall. Condition Report (Please Read Carefully): These are vintage items and show notable cosmetic wear and manufacturing defects consistent with age. Please review the photos closely to evaluate the following specific flaws: JESUS BUST DEFECTS: There is a distinct chip/hole broken into the hollow chalkware on the upper left back edge right next to the metal hanging loop. A small white scuff/paint loss spot is present on the dark side profile of the hair. The bottom rim displays prominent hairline age cracks and crazing lines extending across the underside base from shelf wear, though these are hidden when the piece is hung on a wall. MARY BUST DEFECTS: Features noticeable paint chipping and rubbing along the very top rim edge of the veil shroud. The side edges and back structure contain several small black pinholes and rough texture spots from the original factory casting process. FRONT DISPLAY: Despite these defects on the edges and reverse sides, the front faces and painted hearts remain clean, intact, and display beautifully. Perfect addition to a vintage religious collection, a home altar, or as a timeless piece of mid-century Catholic decor. Items are sold as-is with the noted flaws.
