The figurines are finished in a beautiful, classic glossy ivory/cream glaze, with each piece elegantly highlighted by polished gold trim that catches holiday lights beautifully. The set is anchored by a rustic, hand-painted, brown wood-grain textured creche backdrop dating back to 1976. Along with the stable, you get a full cast of traditional biblical figures, detailed attendants, and an impressive selection of nativity animals. The glossy cream glaze on the figures remains bright, and the gold accents are clean and vibrant. Vintage Identification: The underside of the brown stable piece is hand-signed and dated "Hattie 1976", marking its authentic mid-70s vintage origin (resembling classic Atlantic Mold designs of the era). Condition Notes: There is a chip on the edge of the base on the standing camel figurine. There is a minor hairline crack/repair visible on the front right wing of the kneeling angel figurine. There is a small, minor cosmetic flake/chip on the bottom back edge of one of the standing sheep. The remaining pieces, including the stable, are free of any notable cracks or major chips. Craftsmanship: Beautifully molded features with smooth contours and solid flat bases for secure upright display.
