Part of the highly collectible "Golden Aspen" line produced by Thrifco in the 1950s/1960s, this piece features a rich, glossy caramel-brown glaze modeled to look like a tree trunk. It is beautifully accented with embossed green and yellow aspen leaves, the word "Colorado" in raised script font, and features adorable figural squirrels acting as the side handles and the lid finial knob!
