Vintage 1959 Renaissance Chessmen Set with Board & Booklet – E. S. Lowe No. 831 (Complete) Up for sale is a complete vintage Renaissance Chessmen Set (No. 831) produced by the E. S. Lowe Company, Inc. in 1959. Designed in the likeness of detailed 15th-century Renaissance figures, this set features full felt-bottomed plastic pieces, a folding faux-marble board, original display organizer insert, and the original instructional booklet. Item Details: Brand: E. S. Lowe Company, Inc. (New York, N.Y.) Model: Renaissance Chessmen With Board (Set No. 831) Year: 1959 Pieces Included: Full 32-piece set (16 off-white / 16 black), all with felted bottoms. Extras: Original folding faux-marble board, blue cardboard piece display tray insert, and original instruction booklet. Condition Notes: Chess Pieces: Complete 32-piece set with original felt pads intact.
