Up for sale is a beautiful set of two (2) limited edition collectible beer steins from the celebrated Avon "The Building of America" series. These steins were designed by artist Uldis Klavins and meticulously handcrafted in Brazil by Ceramarte.Both steins are in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. The pewter-style lids are secure and functional, featuring detailed ceramic insets.Included in this lot:"The Blacksmith" (1985): Features a dimpled gray stoneware body. The scene depicts a colonial blacksmith at his anvil, with a "Village Blacksmith" sign on the reverse."The Shipbuilder" (1986): Features a cream-colored body with a unique rope-textured handle. The scene shows a shipbuilder at work with a nautical "Shipbuilder" sign on the reverse.Bonus Features:Original Boxes Included: Both steins come in their original Avon "Building of America" cardboard boxes.Original Inserts: Includes the historical story cards for both the Blacksmith and the Shipbuilder.Numbered Bases: Both are individually numbered for authenticity (see photos).Dimensions:Height: Approx. 9 inchesBase Diameter: 4.5 inchesShipping & Handling:These are heavy, high-quality ceramic pieces.
