Presenting an adorable and highly collectible vintage 1960s Wimsies doll. These dolls are beloved for their expressive "googly" eyes and whimsical facial expressions. This particular girl features a sweet, open-mouth smile and a perfect dusting of freckles across her nose and cheeks. Condition Details: Head & Body: High-quality vinyl head with a hard plastic body. The "Wimsies © Amer. Doll & Toy" hallmark is clearly visible on the back of the neck. Face & Hair: Paint is bright and intact. Her blonde hair is still in the original twin braids with pink ribbon accents. Outfit: She is wearing her original pink gingham check dress featuring white rick-rack trim and a tiny embroidered floral detail. Includes the original metal snap closures and the attached mesh petticoat underneath for that classic 60s "poof." Rare Accessories: Most importantly, she retains her original black ribbon sandals. These are nearly always lost with time, making this a great "complete" find for a serious collector. Condition Report: Excellent vintage condition. The vinyl is clean, and the mechanical joints move freely. There is very minor age-related "fuzzing" to the hair ends, but she has been very well-preserved. Small pen mark above her eye.
