This is a striking deep amber glass wine/spirit bottle dating from the late 1970s transition period. It features a wonderful "primitive" aesthetic with heavy character, making it an ideal piece for rustic decor, prop use, or glass collections. Key Dating Features (Please Read): Metric Era: This bottle is embossed with "750ml" on the lower body/base, placing its manufacture during the U.S. metric transition (circa 1975–1980). Manufacturing Marks: The base features embossed mold numbers ("9" and "6") and a knurled/stippled texture around the bottom edge, which was standard for mid-to-late 20th-century machine-assisted production. Condition & Glass Characteristics: Internal Bubbles: The glass contains numerous "seeds" (small air bubbles) trapped during the cooling process. Whittle Marks: There is a faint wavy texture or "whittle" appearance to the glass surface. Structural Integrity: EXCELLENT condition. No chips, no cracks, no flea bites, and no "sickness" (cloudiness/haze). Seams: Visible side seams are present, as is standard for mold-blown vintage glass of this era.
