This oversized magazine-style book is a high-quality historical record featuring glossy black-and-white portraits and biographies of legendary artists at the height of their careers. Key Features & Artist Highlights: Major Stars: Features early career photos of Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Roger Miller, Loretta Lynn, George Jones, and Hank Snow. Rare Guitar Ephemera: The back cover features a stunning full-page color advertisement for "New from CF Martin," showcasing the D-35 and the GT-75 electric guitar. Full-Page Features: Includes a vibrant RCA Victor 30th Anniversary tribute to Hank Snow in his famous rhinestone "Nudie" suit. Vintage Advertisements: Decca Guitars, the Staroscope fact-finder, and period-correct music equipment ads. Condition: Overall: Very Good vintage condition. Cover: Bright colors with minor shelf wear and light creasing at the corners. Interior: Pages are clean. There is a small dog-ear fold on the corner of the Hank Snow/Roger Miller page (see photo #7). Binding: Staple binding is secure; no loose pages. Note: Minor age spotting on the back cover near the Martin ad, but the graphics remain sharp and suitable for framing.
