Lot of 2 Vintage Danbury Mint "Brides of America" Porcelain Collector Dolls This listing is for a beautiful two-doll lot from the highly collectible Danbury Mint Brides of America series. Perfect for collectors, vintage doll enthusiasts, or resale inventory. The lot includes: Susan... A Bride of the Gatsby Period: Capturing the romantic, lavish spirit of the late 1920s. Features a multi-tiered ruffled white bridal gown with satin ribbon, a waist-length tulle veil, and deep brown eyes with gold-blonde hair. Dorothy... A Bride of the 1940s: Embodying the classic, elegant wartime style of 1942. Features a period-authentic ivory satin gown with brocade trim, a long tulle veil attached to a brocaded headpiece, and rich brunette curls. What is Included in This Lot: Both porcelain dolls (Susan and Dorothy) Two (2) original Certificates of Authenticity (COA) Two (2) original historical background insert booklets Original attached wrist tags Two (2) white metal doll display stands Item Details & Dimensions: Manufacturer: The Danbury Mint Material: Fine porcelain/bisque heads, hands, and lower legs; soft fabric bodies. Height: Approximately 12 inches each. Condition Report: Susan: Excellent vintage condition. Clean porcelain free of chips or cracks; dress and ruffles are bright and crisp. Dorothy: Very good vintage condition. Porcelain and hair are excellent. Please Note: There is a distinct linear dark smudge mark and a few small spots on the lower front hemline of Dorothy's satin dress (clearly shown in the close-up photos). Both dolls have been displayed cleanly in a smoke-free environment. Please review all photos carefully to see the exact condition of both items and all included paperwork.
