Vintage Made in Occupied Japan Porcelain Miniature Figurines - Lot of 4 Add a highly collectible touch to your display shelf or curated collection with this beautiful lot of four (4) vintage porcelain miniature figurines. These hand-painted pieces feature elegant 18th-century style colonial figures and courting couples, capturing a nostalgic, romantic aesthetic. Every single piece in this lot is explicitly stamped on the base as "Made in Occupied Japan," dating this set precisely between 1945 and 1952. What’s Included in This Lot: The Seated Courting Couple: Features a gentleman in a green jacket offering a rose to a lady in an orange and yellow dress holding a flower basket. The Standing Courting Couple: Displays a gentleman in a brown coat and blue breeches alongside a lady in a lovely light green gown. The Lute Player: A charming solo female figure seated while playing a stringed instrument, dressed in blue, yellow, and peach tones. The Flower Vendor: A lovely standing female figure wearing a black tricorn hat and pink bodice, carrying a structured basket filled with colorful flowers. Condition & Details: Material: Hand-painted porcelain / ceramic with subtle gold gilt accents on the bases and trim. Style: Victorian / Colonial / Rococo Courting Couples. Markings: All 4 pieces feature authentic "Made in Occupied Japan" backstamps on the unglazed bases (some in black ink, some in red/orange ink). Condition: These pre-owned vintage items are in nice historical condition with bright colors. As shown in the comprehensive photo set, there is some minor paint wear, typical factory glaze/kiln imperfections, and light shelf wear/residue on the underside of the bases consistent with age.
