This is an authentic, vintage 1930s "Ohio Rose" (a classic regional variation of the Rose of Sharon) Appliqué Quilt in exceptional preservation. DESIGN & CRAFTSMANSHIP:This quilt features 12 stylized floral blocks arranged in a clean, traditional 3x4 grid. Each block displays a vibrant bubblegum pink blooming rose with soft yellow centers, accented by four green corner leaves. The entire piece is beautifully framed by a delicate, waving green vine border with accent leaves, finished with a solid pink binding edge. The entire piece is 100% hand-pieced, hand-appliquéd, and heavily hand-quilted. The background features incredibly dense, tight diamond quilting. The reverse side features a crisp, clean white cotton backing that beautifully showcases the master-level stitch tension and immaculate execution of the maker.
