Up for sale is a rare, collectible first-edition copy of "The Rivers Flow On: A Record of Eau Claire, Wisconsin From 1910–1960" by prominent local historian Lois Barland. This oversize hardcover volume was published in 1965 by Worzalla Publishing Co. and serves as a highly detailed historical chronicle of Eau Claire's growth, community events, and early 20th-century development. PROVENANCE & SPECIAL ATTRIBUTES:Hand-signed by the author, Lois Barland, on the front flyleaf page. CONDITION DETAILS: Please review the photos carefully before bidding.I nterior: Excellent. Pages are crisp, clean, clear of text markings, and the internal hinge binding remains solid. Exterior: The exterior spine cloth has a distinct split and tear along the mid-spine area with some material fraying (fully captured in the close-up listing photo). There is also standard shelf wear and minor bumping to the corners of the boards. This book is being priced lower to reflect the external spine condition.
