This MiniDV camcorder, originally made in Japan, is a standard definition NTSC format device, perfect for those looking for components or a challenging repair project.</p><p>Capture your memories with the impressive 20x optical zoom and an astounding 800x digital zoom, powered by a high-quality Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens. This silver and black Sony Handycam DCR-HC28 uses removable tape storage, specifically MiniDV, for recording.</p><p>The rear casing of this digital video camera recorder is severely broken, exposing internal components and wiring, including the internal chassis and tape mechanism. The lens, however, appears intact and still has its cap, though no battery is visible with the unit.</p>
