Size and condition above come from the listing. The description below is the seller’s own text.
**Item Description:** 1950s Louis Marx & Co. "Diesel 12" (TD-18 style) mechanical wind-up crawler tractor. This is the scarcer, highly detailed monochrome silver and gray tin lithograph color variant. **Condition Details:** - Body & Lithography: The tin litho graphics remain bright and highly detailed, showing the intricate mechanical engine layout and "Diesel 12" branding. There is minor, age-appropriate surface wear, light oxidation along the edges, and minor scuffs as shown in photos. - Mechanism: The internal clockwork wind-up motor does function and turn the gears/wheels, but it has weak spring tension and does not have enough power to propel the tractor forward on its own. -Missing Pieces: This toy is missing its rubber tracks, driver figure, exhaust stack, and breather cap. The original black wheels are intact. Please review all photos carefully for an accurate look at the exact cosmetic condition. Sold as-is for parts, restoration, or vintage display. Ships securely packed.
