Antique EAPG Clear Pressed Glass Footed Compote Diamond Point Sawtooth 1800s Stunning Antique Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) footed compote! Dating back to the late 19th century (1850s–1890s), this historical piece features a brilliant "Diamond Point" or "Sawtooth" pattern around the bowl and a classic fluted stem. Produced during the golden age of American glassmaking by prominent companies like McKee & Brothers or Bryce Brothers. Condition: Beautiful antique condition. As is authentic to 1800s pressed glass, it features typical manufacturing characteristics such as straw marks (shear marks) and prominent mold lines (please see close-up photos). No major chips or cracks. A fantastic, sparkling piece of American history perfect for serving treats, holding vanity trinkets, or displaying in your antique glass collection!
