Up for sale is a stunning, authentic mid-century modern impressionist street scene oil painting signed by the artist, L. Nicole. It features beautiful impasto/palette-knife textures with a gorgeous color palette of earthy tones accented by vivid mid-century turquoise and teal pops. The Frame: The painting comes housed in its original, heavy-profile vintage molded wood frame featuring a classic textured linen inner liner. The frame completely protects and covers the raw edges of the canvas. It has an incredible, gallery-ready presence on the wall and is fully wired and ready to hang! An old estate auction lot tag is still attached to the back, adding to its vintage history. Condition: The vintage frame is in excellent shape with beautiful aging. Please note there is an authentic vintage flaw consisting of a prominent patch of paint loss/scratching near the center figures on the stairs (clearly shown in the close-up photos). This has been heavily factored into the pricing and adds to the rustic, aged mid-century character of the piece.
