Vintage 1950s General Electric Metal Desk / Wall Fan – Tested & WorkingUp for sale is an authentic, mid-century modern General Electric oscillating fan in solid functional condition. This classic industrial appliance features a heavy all-metal frame, four rounded aluminum blades, and the iconic bright red center GE logo emblem.Functionality & Condition Details:Motor & Airflow: Fully tested. The motor starts up immediately, runs strong, and pushes a high volume of cool air.Oscillation: The mechanical side-to-side sweeping motion operates smoothly.Power Cord: The original grey cord is fully intact, flexible, and free of any cracks, frays, or exposed wiring.Base Hardware: Stamped with "GENERAL ELECTRIC" text across the top curve. Includes the built-in teardrop keyhole slot for easy wall mounting. All four original brown rubber bottom feet are present and intact to protect your furniture surfaces.Cosmetics: Shows honest vintage wear, light surface scuffs, and minor oxidation spots on the wire cage from decades of storage.PLEASE NOTE (Read Before Bidding): The original small plastic/bakelite knob on the rear motor housing switch is missing. The underlying metal toggle post is fully intact and works manually to engage or disengage the oscillation, but the cosmetic cap is absent.
