For sale is a beautiful vintage Couroc of Monterey black phenolic resin serving tray. It features the highly collectible, mid-century modern (MCM) inlaid wood and brass owl on a branch motif, complete with hand-inlaid shimmering silver-tone stars. This is the large, desirable rectangular version, measuring approximately 18" inches by 12.5" inches. The back features the original iconic Couroc gold foil care instructions label intact, confirming its authenticity. Handcrafted in Monterey, California, these trays are famously resistant to alcohol, water, and heat. Condition Details: - Front graphic/inlay is in excellent, bright condition with no lifting. - No chips, cracks, or deep gouges in the resin. - The back and front show minor, normal vintage surface scuffs/smudges consistent with light use and age.
