Up for sale is an authentic 19th-century antique Japanese Arita porcelain vase. The underside of the base features the hand-painted iron-red mark reading "Zoshuntei Sanpo Zo" (蔵春亭 三保造), the trade name used by the studio of Hisatomi Yojibei Masayasu during the late Edo to Meiji period. The vase is beautifully decorated with an iron-red and gold gilt ground, featuring hand-painted panels depicting a floral garden scene with a butterfly on the body and autumn maple leaves on the neck. **Condition:** AS-IS / DAMAGED & REPAIRED. This piece has wonderful historical display value but features a visible, old dark resin/lacquer fill repair on the outer rim. As shown in the close-up photos, there is a prominent vertical hairline crack running down the inner neck from this area, along with minor flea bites on the rim glaze. The main bulbous body is structurally sound. Please review all macro photos carefully to assess condition. Perfect for collectors of authentic Meiji-era export porcelain, Zoshuntei studio wares, or kintsugi repair projects!
