Up for sale is an authentic, vintage 1950s tin lithograph toy semi-trailer featuring iconic advertising for Western Auto ("the family store"). Manufactured in Japan by LineMar Co., Inc. (a subsidiary of Louis Marx & Co.). This is the standalone trailer unit; the front friction cab is not included.Condition Details:Graphics: Bright red and white litho paint with iconic slogans and NY state weight hauling specs still clearly legible on both sides.Body & Roof: Shows honest vintage playwear. The white corrugated roof and front nose panel feature uniform pinpoint surface rust spots and minor scratches consistent with a 70-year-old toy. No major dents.Underside: Clean black gloss undercarriage. Axles are straight, and both original rear tires are intact and roll smoothly.Perfect as a replacement piece or display item for mid-century toy collectors! Sold as-is.
