Up for sale is a rare vintage 1970s French studio pottery zoomorphic owl candle holder lantern and perfume oil burner. Handcrafted from heavy gres pyrite pyrite stoneware, this piece is beautifully designed in the style of the celebrated La Borne art pottery region of France. It features a distinctive hand-sculpted owl body with a triangular candle opening, a top oil reservoir, and beautiful cobalt blue glazed detailing around the eyes.
