The black finish has natural workbench scuffs, dust, and weathering. The vintage Dr. Seuss vinyl decal is highly legible with a fantastic retro look, showing typical edge peeling and rust bleed staining. Dual front latches and top handle are intact and fully functional.Interior: Features heavy surface rust, oxidation, and pitting on the bottom floor as shown in the photos. The metal is structurally solid and not rotted completely through. The wire thermos bracket inside the lid is missing. This piece has an incredible, uncleaned "found object" aesthetic. The stark contrast between the whimsical children's book graphic and the rugged, heavily rusted industrial steel makes it an exceptional accent piece for mid-century home styling, a unique garage display, or a rustic storage box.
