Original Marc Svabic Mid-Century Parisian Street Scene Oil Painting - Framed Up for sale is an authentic, original vintage oil painting by the listed French artist Marc Svabic. This delightful piece features Svabic's signature naive / folk art style, capturing a bustling afternoon at the historic Place du Tertre in the Montmartre district of Paris, France. The lively scene includes cafe patrons, street artists, and pedestrians outside the famous Maison Catherine restaurant, with the iconic dome of the Sacré-Cœur Basilica rising in the distance. The artwork is signed by the artist in the lower right corner. It comes beautifully housed in a heavy, decorative gold-finished wooden frame with a unique turquoise blue inner accent liner.
