Up for sale is an authentic late-19th-century antique Victorian wooden clock component, ideal for architectural salvage or horological restoration projects.Object Type & Function: This hand-crafted walnut or stained hardwood piece served as either the lower decorative apron/base or the upper top pediment/crown crest trim for a Victorian kitchen, shelf, or "gingerbread" parlor clock (such as those made by E. Ingraham, Ansonia, or Seth Thomas).Design Elements: Features a prominent semi-circular horseshoe cutout in the center, flanked by two ornate fluted pilaster columns and capped on the outer edges with matching turned wooden drop finials/spindles.Size: Measures approximately 9.5 inches in total width (as shown next to the ruler).Condition: Good antique condition. The wood retains a deep, dark aged finish with minor surface scuffs, nicks, and cosmetic character wear consistent with its 100+ year age. The structural joints are solid, and both drop finials remain securely attached.An excellent replacement piece for clock repairers or a great element for creative woodworking and steampunk design.
