<p>Vintage cast iron kettle marked “Chicago Hardware Foundry, No. 3” on the base. Chicago Hardware Foundry operated out of North Chicago, Illinois starting around 1900, and is a sought-after name among vintage cast iron collectors alongside makers like Griswold and Wagner.</p><br /><p>This small kettle has a rounded, footless body, pour-spout lip, and a sturdy swinging bail handle mounted on cast ears. Nice dark, weathered surface patina with light oxidation typical of age — no cracks or breaks. Handle swings freely.</p><br /><p>A great piece for collectors of CHF/vintage cast iron, or as rustic farmhouse decor — use as a planter, kindling holder, or display piece.</p>
