**Please Refer To ALL Pictures, To Help Determine CONDITION**Please Take A Moment To View All Of Our Hats-THANK YOU!Up for sale is an incredibly rare, original vintage factory hang tag for the Marlin Model 50 .22 caliber automatic bolt-action rifle. Manufactured by The Marlin Firearms Company in New Haven, Conn., U.S.A., during the early 1930s (circa 1931–1935).Because the Model 50 was Marlin's very first semi-automatic rimfire rifle and was discontinued after a very short production run (with fewer than 5,000 units made), finding original paper ephemera like this is exceptionally difficult. This hang tag doubled as the factory user manual and is a holy grail item for Marlin collectors looking to complete a period-correct rifle package.Item Details:Front Panel: Features the classic Marlin logo, model designation, and full mechanical specifications of the rifle (detachable 6-shot magazine, 22-inch tapered barrel, genuine American walnut stock).Inside Panels / Back: Provides detailed operating, cleaning, and safety instructions, explicitly detailing its unique "open-bolt" automatic operation. Also features promotional text and diagrams for the optional "Special Target Sights" upgrade (Marlin Receiver Peep Sight and Front Sight Hood), complete with fascinating 1930s pricing ($2.00 for the peep sight!).Condition:Excellent vintage condition with crisp, clear text and illustrations. Colors remain bright with only light, natural aging appropriate for a 90+ year-old piece of firearms history. Please see the high-resolution photos to judge the exact cosmetic condition for yourself.Perfect for framing, displaying alongside a period-correct rifle collection, or completing an original factory layout.Ships securely in a protective sleeve with rigid backing to ensure it arrives in pristine condition.
