GEM introduced this specific frame modification around 1943 to streamline production during wartime metal conservation efforts.Authentic Brooklyn Stamping: Crisp, clear "GEM / BROOKLYN, NEW YORK / MADE IN U.S.A." factory stamps are visible across the interior frame.Black Bakelite Baton Handle: Equipped with the original, chunky, ribbed black Bakelite handle.
