Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition. Frame shows age-related wear including minor scuffs and patina. Backing paper is aged and intact with some tearing consistent with long-term storage. Photograph remains protected behind glass. Description: Vintage framed black & white photograph depicting aviator Howard Hughes during a New York parade associated with the 1939 World’s Fair era. Research indicates this image is from a well-documented ticker-tape parade honoring Hughes, with other individuals in the vehicle believed to include World’s Fair President Grover Whalen and associate Al Lodwick. This piece was acquired approximately 35 years ago after being found in an attic clean-out and has remained framed and hanging on a wall since that time. The original paper backing is still intact and has not been removed. The photograph presents with a classic vintage look and is mounted in a substantial wood frame, making it an excellent display piece for collectors of aviation history or World’s Fair memorabilia.
