Vintage WS stoneware beer stein from Germany, decorated with a hand-colored scene of the Rothenburg ob der Tauber market square. It shows the town hall tower, gabled half-timbered buildings, a horse-drawn carriage and the red Rothenburg town crest, with the script caption "Rothenburg ob der Tauber" below.<br><br>PRODUCT DETAILS<br>- Maker: WS, "Qualitat - Made in Germany" mark on the base<br>- Original gold "Qualitat WS Hand-Made" foil sticker on the side<br>- Cream glazed stoneware with full-color transfer scene<br>- Large one-liter size, open top (no lid), heavy footed base<br>- Height: about 6.5 inches<br><br>CONDITION<br>Pre-owned vintage. No cracks. The decoration is bright and complete. There is one tiny glaze flake on the rim, shown in the photos. See photos for details.<br><br>A good piece for a stein or breweriana collection, German or Bavarian decor, or a gift for anyone who has visited Rothenburg or loves Oktoberfest.
