This antique gem tintype album from the 1800s features 41 miniature photo and portraits of men & women & children, each photo measuring 1/2 inch. The album measures 2" x 3" and is made of leather, paper, and metal, with an embossed design and a brass closure clasp, the side is worn, but expected by age. Each page has four individual tin type photos, two on each side. The last pages of the book are empty. I took photos of a couple of pages but there is a lot.<br><br>Binding is falling apart. Clasp still works.<br><br>The tintype production technique was used in the United States during the pre-1850 time period, showcasing family portraits as the main theme. This unique and collectible piece offers a glimpse into the past with its vintage charm and historical significance.<br><br>Please look closely at all the photos.
