The Chaparral T100 is a rare find and a must-have for nostalgic fans of the brand's history in Longmont, CO. 1972 Chaparral Industries T100 Rectifier Vintage Motorcycle Part P2071 1972 Chaparral Industries T100 Brake Light Switch Chaparral Industries, fastest growing major snowmobile company in the country, has recently added mini-cycles to its product line. The bikes will be available in three models: the Bullet ST80 (shown), the Bullet T80, and the Bullet T172. Built primarily for trail riding, the ST80 and T80 are four-speed bikes powered by a two-stroke, 80cc Fuji engine that pumps out 7.5 hp at 6800 rpm. The T172 has a 172cc Tecumseh four-stroke powerplant and torque-converter for shift-free riding. Top-of-the-line ST80 weighs 125 pounds, has hydraulic front suspension with rear coil springs. On this model, lights, horn and speedo package are standard. Trail-ready T80 version is stripped for action, has torque-tuned exhaust with spark arrester. Chaparral existed in Longmont, CO from about 1968 to 1974. They were well known in their later years for their IFS and race sleds. In the non sled months, Red Dale Campers were produced there. They produced a variety of sleds and a few mini bikes. Their last sleds were liquid cooled 440's in 1974, had a Para-Rail suspension, and were really ahead of their time in technology. Several HP classes were sold over the years using several engine manufacturers. CCW, Hirth, JLO, and Xenoah engines were all used. Early sleds had bogie suspensions...Para-Rail was used the last 3 years. Like most manufacturers at that time, they were victim to poor winters and closed their doors as the snowmobile market faced its first major down sizing. Powered By 3Dsellers.com - Try for Free!
