Up for sale is a highly sought-after, vintage 1970s Bell Super Magnum open-face motorcycle helmet in its iconic factory silver finish. This helmet features the incredibly rare and highly collectible size 7 3/8 (Large), making it a perfect piece for vintage motorcycle enthusiasts, helmet collectors, or restoration projects. Verified Authenticity: Snell Certification: Includes the original, fully intact green Snell Memorial Foundation 1970 safety sticker inside the shell. Serial Number: 980088 SHCA Tag: Original Safety Helmet Council of America sticker is present (Serial: 481329). Condition Details: Exterior: The original silver paint is in great vintage shape with a beautiful gloss. It shows honest, light patina and minor surface wear from age, but holds its classic look beautifully. The original rear "Bell Super Magnum" decal is still intact. Interior: The side fabric cheek padding panels are remarkably clean and intact. As is universal with helmets from this era, the original center foam liner has disintegrated due to natural dry rot over the decades, exposing the black adhesive channel down the middle. Hardware: The original D-ring strap and chin strap assembly are fully intact and functional. Please Note: Due to the aged interior foam and vintage safety standards, this item is being sold strictly as a collector's display piece or as a candidate for a liner restoration.
