This 1981 Walt Disney World Tencennial cast member coin letter Dick Nunis 10th Anniv set is a complete recognition package presented only to Cast Members during the resort’s 10th anniversary celebration. Unlike loose coin offerings, this ensemble preserves the full “time capsule” from a single original recipient, with the commemorative coin still attached to its original blue presentation card alongside the Dick Nunis letter and original mailing envelope.The Tencennial medallion features the “Walt Disney World 1971–1981” logo on one side and a detailed relief of Cinderella Castle with a stylized “10” on the reverse, mounted to the blue velvet-style presentation card exactly as issued. The original letter from executive Dick Nunis, thanking the Cast Member for their contribution to Walt Disney World’s first decade, is included in very nice vintage condition, along with the white mailing envelope that shows only expected light age-related handling but remains intact and displayable.For Disney historians and Cast Member memorabilia collectors, this set captures the moment when Walt Disney World celebrated its first major milestone and leadership formally recognized the people who made the resort’s success possible.
