Beautiful authentic vintage mid-century evening clutch by the luxury designer Bienen-Davis. This classic Hollywood Regency style piece comes with its original matching satin-lined coin purse! Brand: Bienen-Davis (New York)The Bienen-Davis brand (founded in 1931 in New York) is a cult name in the world of American luxury vintage.Material: Premium Black Satin exterior, sleek peach/pale pink satin interior lining. Hardware: Elegant heavy gold-toned frame with an ornate floral/leaf etched pattern along the inner rim and a secure top kiss-lock/lift clasp. Features: One main compartment with side slip pockets. Includes the rare, matching companion coin purse with a gold-tone tension frame.9" x 6"Condition: Good vintage pre-owned condition. The exterior black satin is clean and structured. The gold-tone hardware remains bright with smooth closure functionality. Inner frame features beautiful detailed engraving. The interior lining shows light signs of age/spots normal for vintage textile (please see photos for close-up details). No structural damage, tears, or strong odors.
