Oval framed landscape print. Soft cream frame with subtle gold trim. Scenic mountain and canyon artwork. Ready to display. Elegant vintage-inspired look. This is a tin serving tray from Sunshine Biscuits—these were actually the lid to a container of biscuits, as a part of the American Masters series celebrating American landmarks/moments painted by American artists. This particular tray is of the Grand Canyon, as painted by Thomas Moran. The back has a great blurb about both the national park and the artist. If you have trouble picturing that this was the lid, the containers were shaped almost like a spool of thread, with this platter being larger than the container and the sunken in tray part would be what dips down to seal the container. If that makes sense!
