Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible vintage set of 5 Nelson McCoy Pottery nesting mixing bowls. Featuring the iconic mid-century creamy white glaze accented by signature pastel pink and blue horizontal bands, this complete nesting sequence is perfect for a farmhouse kitchen display or an active pottery collection.Set Includes & Markings:Size #12 Bowl (Approx. 11.5"–12"): Marked "OVEN WARE 12 USA"Size #12 Bowl Alternative/Second Large (Approx. 11"–11.5"): Marked "OVEN WARE 12 USA"Size #10 Bowl: Features the official raised McCoy Shield Mark and "OVEN WARE 10 USA"Size #8 Bowl: Features the raised McCoy Shield Mark / Size "8"Smallest Prep Bowl: Stamped "108 USA"Condition Report:This set is in beautiful vintage condition with no major chips, deep structural breaks, or heavy interior utensil gouges. The largest #12 bowl features a slight, charming oval shape—a classic, well-documented manufacturing warp that occurred during the original kiln-firing process. The second large bowl is in excellent shape; a small area of exterior discoloration was successfully cleaned and removed, leaving the glaze looking very bright. The mid-sized #10 and #8 bowls are clean, bright, and functionally round. The smallest "108" bowl has a tiny, superficial hairline surface check on the very bottom exterior base ring (see photos). This line is shallow, does not pass through to the interior of the bowl, and does not impact its structural integrity or display capability. Please review all photos carefully to evaluate the condition details. This set will be packed with professional care using heavy-duty bubble wrap and a sturdy box to ensure safe transit.
