Sent to Mrs. Esther Dredge of the prominent local Dredge/Bowerman family:"Dec 22 Dear Sister I will write you a few lines tonight we are all pretty well the children all have colds...Lettie has been sick ever since Thanksgiving till now she started to school this week the school is going to have a ...tonight the Sunday School Xmas day they are going to have a tree Enoch is Sk. NIck.
