This is a set of emergency paper money prepared by the Allied Military Government for Operation Overlord, issued to troops during the 1944 D-Day landings. All three notes bear a stylized square framing of the French Tricolor flag paired with the iconic national motto: "Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité".<br><br>Serial: 83408269, 63606327, and 17760411<br><br>Size: approximately 78 mm x 67 mm<br><br>Security: Intricate geometric lathe border work across the face<br><br>Condition: Circulated with folds. 10 franc has a small tear on bottom edge.<br><br>This is an authentic vintage item.
