This authentic note was printed secretly in the United States by the Allied forces to prepare for the liberation of mainland Europe. Known as "Supplemental Currency," these notes were distributed directly to American, British, and Canadian troops just before the 1944 D-Day landings.<br><br>Features the iconic square medallion showcasing the French Tricolor flag surrounded by the national revolutionary motto: "Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité" (Liberty, Equality, Fraternity).<br><br>Serial: 57192911<br><br>Size: Approximately 78 mm x 67 mm<br><br>Security: Complex, high-density line-wave lathe patterns to counter wartime forgery<br><br>Condition: Extremely Fine with light folds<br><br>This is an authentic vintage item.
