This group captures the specific, highly structured routines of a WWII US Army Reception Center. These centers were the first stop for civilian draftees and volunteers, where they underwent shoe fittings from rows of cubbies, slept in communal barracks, and took psychological/aptitude tests to determine their military job placement.
