This remarkable World War II-era muntbiljet, or silver certificate banknote, represents a pivotal moment in Dutch history, features a regal portrait of Queen Wilhelmina, and was printed in the United States by the American Bank Note Company for the government in exile.<br><br>This historic banknote was commissioned by the Dutch government-in-exile while operating out of London during World War II.
