Beautiful vintage Hungarian folk-art male doll dressed in an elaborate traditional Matyó-style costume. The doll features a hand-painted face with blue eyes and mustache, dark hair, and an ornate traditional hat.His costume is especially detailed, with a full white shirt featuring vibrant multicolor floral embroidery, a black cropped vest embellished with small gold-tone buttons and decorative stitching, and an exceptionally colorful floral embroidered apron finished with decorative trim and black fringe. The outfit is completed with traditional-style black boots.The rich red, green, blue, yellow and burgundy floral motifs are characteristic of Hungarian Matyó folk decoration associated with the Mezőkövesd region.
