The product is a set of 2 Indian Rajasthani Kathputli puppets, featuring a woman/man design that is reversible. Made of wood and fabric in multi-color, these marionette dolls are handmade in India. Kathputli, perhaps the most renowned form of string puppetry in India, originates from Rajasthan. The term "Kathputli" is derived from two Rajasthani words: "Kath," meaning wood, and "Putli," meaning doll. Kathputlis have no legs and are often dressed in long flowing skirts, with heads and hands painted in bright colors and decorated with intricate details.
