This is no wimpy sweater. This is a sweater like your grandma would knit for you. It's wool. SERIOUS wool. This is that ONE sweater that you vow to never get rid of, because it REFUSES to let the cold in. In fact, I would STILL not be getting rid of it, if I had not retired and/or moved to the South, where "cold" isn't really bone chilling. Growing up in Pennsylvania, I *know* "bone-chilling"!! I wore this sweater maybe twice a year for as long as I've had it, which is probably 20+ years or so. With proper care (and benign neglect) this sweater should last another 20 years. PLS NOTE THAT IT MAY HAVE A CEDAR/MOTHBALL SMELL. It is still the warmest sweater in the world, and you will love it. Beautiful dark gray heather, textured knit with poinsettias and leaves knitted in. Pretty cable-knit pattern.Because this has raglan sleeves, the fit is very forgiving.
