Up for sale is a vintage Kershaw Model 2300 fixed blade hunting/utility knife, designed by custom knifemaker Tom Veff and manufactured in Japan by KAI.This compact fixed blade features full-tang AUS8A stainless steel construction with ergonomic wood handle scales and includes its original Kershaw-stamped brown leather belt sheath.FEATURES & SPECIFICATIONS:- Model Number: 2300- Markings: "2300 AUS8A Design by Tom Veff KAI Japan" on blade back; "Kershaw" logo on front- Blade Material: AUS8A Stainless Steel- Construction: Full Tang with upper spine and lower index finger jimping- Handle: Rich wood grain scales attached with stainless Torx screws- Origin: Japan- Sheath: Genuine dark brown leather belt sheath with Kershaw snap closureCONDITION:Excellent pre-owned condition. Blade edge and tip are clean and sharp with original factory satin finish. Wood handle scales fit tight with no chips or cracks. The leather sheath is in great shape with working snaps and strong stitching.The close up photo shows tight fitment on the wood handle scales along with minor surface patina/tarnish on the exposed steel edge of the tang between the scales.**Please review all photos for exact condition details prior to bidding or purchase.
