Gruen 14K Gold Filled Etched Watch Case (Serial No. 2188861)Vintage Gruen watch case marked 14K gold filled with a classic rectangular Art Deco design. Ideal for watch restoration, vintage watch repair, or parts replacement, this Gruen case is a great find for collectors, horology enthusiasts, or anyone working on a period-correct project.Case inscription appears to read: 14K GOLD FILLEDMOVEMENT ADJUSTED IN U.S.A. 833/85 (could be 65)2188861I’ve done my best to accurately represent these small letters and numbers. Please see photos for exact details. The outside is in lovely condition with some light signs of wear consistent with age. There is scratching on the inside of the case and bending on one of the loops that connect it to a watch band. Please see photos for description
