Circa 1940s Sterling Silver Sapphire Blue Glass Crystal PinSterling stamped brooch featuring deep sapphire blue open-back crystal stones in a bold machine-age geometric design. Beautiful patina, the sculptural form combines stylized bow and sunburst elements with articulated dangles for Art Deco / late Machine Age to Atomic Age styling.Each crystal has a solid, firm setting that shows the preciousness of each one. The rectangular emerald-cut shape blue crystals are richly saturated cobalt blue and catch the light beautifully. Open-back settings on the lower three stones allow maximum brilliance.
