RARE OLD-WORLD EUROPEAN GOTHIC STATEMENT CHAIRStriking late 19th to early 20th century-style European ecclesiastical chair with strong Gothic Revival and Venetian-inspired design influences.Reportedly originating from a church, this dramatic high-back chair has the unmistakable presence of an old European ceremonial or clergy chair. The towering back is framed by substantial turned wood posts, architectural spindle detailing and a beautifully aged dark wood finish.Rich mustard-gold velvet upholstery contrasts beautifully against the dark frame and is finished with traditional decorative nailhead/tack trim.
