Vintage Motorola AM radio designed and built exclusively for Volkswagen distributors in the United States. This is an original factory-style radio commonly used in classic Volkswagen vehicles such as Beetle, Bus, and Karmann Ghia models. Details: • Motorola manufactured OEM Volkswagen radio • Push-button AM tuning • Made in USA • Motorola chassis number: 15D41739C0 • Original knobs and faceplate present • Period-correct textured dash style Testing: Radio powers on when connected to a 12V source. Knobs turn freely and push buttons operate smoothly. When a speaker is connected the unit produces audio/static response. An antenna was not available during testing, so full reception has not been verified. Condition: Shows normal vintage wear including light rust and cosmetic aging consistent with age. Wiring has been cut as shown in photos. Great candidate for restoration, repair, or use in a classic Volkswagen restoration project. Please review photos carefully for condition and completeness.
