Up for sale is an original, vintage 1956 Willard Batteries single-sided embossed tin (SST) vertical sign. As seen in the photos, this authentic piece of automotive history features striking white embossed lettering over a bold red background with its original black painted border. It is 40" by 12". Details: Manufacturer: Marked "AM 56" at the bottom right corner (Allen-Morrison Sign Co., Lynchburg, VA, dated 1956). Condition: Authentic vintage condition with a fantastic natural patina. It displays vibrant color gloss, with some expected age-related wear including minor paint loss, edge warping, light rust speckling on the embossed letters, and a light horizontal crease across the middle section.
